Patricia Marjorie Willis was a painter noted for her portraits and watercolours, she was a teacher at the Byam Shaw School from 1957-1965. She was born in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Although educated in Canada, she studied art at the Byam Shaw School of drawing and painting for 2 periods, 1938-1941 and 1952-5. her teachers included Peter Greenham and Charles Mahoney and Patrick Phillips. 

Artist biography

Patrick Phillips was a portrait and landscape painter in oiuls and watercolour, and a teacher. He studied at the Byam Shaw School of drawing and painting under F E Jackson and Glyn Philpot and Charles Shannon, 1926-30. He became principal of the Byam Shaw, 1946-55.
